HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

Job Design, Recruitment, Staffing, Training, and Career Development

The human resources management portion of the program focuses on business law and ethics, recruiting, employee selection, training and professional development, employee benefits and payroll. School instructors develop students’ knowledge and skills for a career in Human Resources with classroom theory and hands-on training. This classwork and training prepares college students for entry-level positions as an HR generalist, assistant recruiter, HR clerk, or human resources specialist.

BUSINESS OFFICE SUPPORT

Assisting and Supporting the Human Resources Department

Part of working in Human Resources involves supporting an organization’s HR department. During this program, college students will get certification in Microsoft Word and Excel. They will also gain soft skills in communication and the ability to continuously learn. This training will help students support the HR department and assist with many of the business office tasks.
