Veterans may qualify for financial aid programs and additional benefits to help make education affordable.

Financial Assistance For Veterans

Start the Financial Assistance process by contacting the Financial Assistance Office. Our Financial Assistance Officers will assist you in completing the FAFSA to determine your eligibility.

Veterans may qualify for the GI Bill® or Post-9/11 GI Bill®.

There are many programs to help make education affordable. Additional benefits are available for those veterans who qualify:

  • GI Bill
  • Post-9/11 GI Bill
  • Montgomery GI Bill
  • Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP)
  • Survivors and Dependents Assistance
  • Fry Scholarship
  • Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (DEA)

Veteran Rapid Retraining Assistance Program (VRRAP)

The Veteran Rapid Retraining Assistance Program (VRRAP) offers education and training to Veterans who are unemployed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are eligible for VRRAP you can get:

  • Up to 12 months of tuition and fees
  • A monthly housing allowance based on Post-9/11 GI Bill rates


VRRAP Eligibility Requirements:

  • At least 22 years old, but not older than 66
  • Unemployed because of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Not rated as totally disabled because you can’t work
  • Not enrolled in a federal or state jobs program
