At Interactive College of Technology, industry certifications are part of the curriculum for each program of study. This enables our students to graduate with a degree or diploma, as well as relevant, industry recognized certifications. This additional feature of our training programs gives our graduates a definite advantage in the job market – now and in the future.
Below are listings of the certifications that are currently included in the various programs offered at ICT.
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) – All locations
With all of our business programs, the student may qualify as a Specialist, Expert, or Master, depending on the number of certifications earned.
National Healthcareer Association Certifications– All locations
ICT’s Medical Office Administration programs include preparation for two industry certifications issued by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), which are requirements for graduation.
- CMAA – Medical Administrative Assistant
- CEHRS – Electronic Health Records Specialist
Intuit Quickbooks Pro Accounting Certification– All locations
Both the Accounting diploma and associate degree programs’ coursework include an introduction to the most widely used professional accounting software programs. The Intuit Quickbooks Pro software certification is required for graduation.

EPA and NATE – Chamblee, GA (Main Campus) and Newport Campus ONLY
Our HVAC, HVAC/R and Commercial Refrigeration programs all require the completion of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification in accordance with section 608 of the Clean Air Act for the Recovery and Recycling of Refrigerants. They also require the the NATE certif
National Technical Honor Society
In addition to the above, students attending the Main Campus of Interactive College of Technology in Chamblee may qualify for acceptance into the National Technical Honor Society – a distinction bestowed on those students that excel in classroom performance and service to the institution.
