Bilingual Administrative Support Training
The Bilingual Administrative Support Training Program is designed to equip the graduate with both the technology and language skills necessary to compete in today’s diverse workforce. The ability to communicate across languages is a very sought after asset. The program focuses on key skill sets such as document management and presentation and communication tools, combined with high typing speeds and language skill development in either Spanish or English.
Microsoft core competencies lead to Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification, which further enhances employability.
As the market place continues to expand in diversity, opportunities for bilingual office administration will be on the rise.
Students with existing proficiency in both English and Spanish may modify the program to take additional application courses such as Program Management, Web Design, Desktop Publishing.
As with all programs at ICT, this program includes an externship. An Externship is a program component that assigns a student to a partnering company for 135 hours giving the student the opportunity to put his/her new skills to use and gain real-life career training. ICT is one of the few schools that offer this as part of a student’s training in every program of study.
