People are the most important asset of most businesses, agencies and organizations. Human resource professionals are increasingly viewed as a critical component in the managerial, organizational, development, legal and ethics issues which are inherent in any entity that employs people. HR professionals are expected to contribute specialized knowledge and a broad understanding of business or organizational needs in the daily execution of their duties.

The program consists of General Education, Core, Technical Major Requirements and Elective courses.
Upon completion of this 2-year, 72-credit hour degree program, the student will be prepared to manage the human resources efforts of a smaller company or serve as a valuable member of a Human Resource Management team in a larger organization. Through the program’s externship, the student will have an opportunity to utilize real-life applications learned in the classroom.
This field is expected to experience consistent growth at least through the year 2022 and presents a solid opportunity to be an integral part of an organization and on be on a pathway to growth, both professionally and financially*.
