Hurricane Harvey Resources and Emergency Relief

Most everyone in the US and around the world has been watching the tragic events that have unfolded this week in Houston, Texas and surrounding cities. For those on the outside looking in, we cannot appropriately imagine such disaster with the loss of life, homes, property and more.

While many have friends and family in the area who have been affected, Interactive College of Technology has three campuses in the Houston area, enrolling over one thousand students and more than 125 employees. We have been able to communicate directly with many. We are not aware of any loss of life and our campus facilities received minimal damage. We expect for employees to return and resume recruitment and administrative duties on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, and students to return to campus as usual on September 6, 2017 at all three campuses.

While we have a number of initiatives underway to assist our faculty, staff, and students, one of our attorneys, Angela Myers of Myers Law Group in Dallas, Texas has compiled a comprehensive resource list to help those who suffered various damages and losses. We trust you will find this information very helpful and hopefully it will answer some of the many questions you have.

I would be remiss if I did not take the time to commend the many, many volunteers who readily stepped in to help those in need. The volunteer effort played a huge part in saving many lives.

God Bless America!
